I was always one who felt like I wasn’t equipped to make a difference for the Kingdom. I mean, I’m just one person and a shy one at that; what could I possibly do to further God’s kingdom?

I'm a speech-language pathologist and we frequently use a strategy called generative naming to address thought processing and word finding skills. I was thinking today about power and things that can be defined as powerful. There are powerful people, powerful corporations, powerful equipment, powerful natural forces - you can probably think of many more.

I have been blogging off and on for nearly four years now. It’s a good way to share Jesus with others and talk about timely topics people need to hear. Sometimes, I blog because of circumstances I encounter in my own life that I pray will help others draw near to the Lord.
Today, I revisited my very first blog called “Salt & Light”. It was written back in December 2020. It was the start of it all.
7/24/24 - The Cocoon
I cried during a good portion of my trip today to visit my family near St. Louis.
It's been a tough couple of weeks for me. Satan's darts really have stung lately. It is hard to take it on the chin, but I am called to stand firm, according to Ephesians 6:13: Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
